SES Foundation President Prof. Dr. İbrahim Kurt met with Member of the European Parliament Raquel Garcia (D66) during an iftar event held in the De Pijp area of Amsterdam.
At the event attended by approximately 50 people, Prof. Dr. İbrahim Kurt and Raquel Garcia exchanged views on the European Union agenda and current developments. The discussion extensively covered topics such as the activities of the SES Foundation, challenges faced by immigrant academics and their integration into society, projects aimed at enhancing the culture of coexistence, and dialogue-based initiatives.
During the meeting, emphasis was placed on the need for greater support and visibility at the European Union level for the academic and cultural activities conducted by the SES Foundation. The event concluded with an interactive session featuring questions and comments from participants.
